2013 SEASON

A key part of the Oregon bullpen finishing with a 2-0 record and one save while posting a 3.40 ERA … Appeared in 28 games, the third most on the team … Struck out 29 in 39.2 innings … Allowed just three of 19 inherited runners to score, the best ratio (.158) on the Ducks’ pitching staff … Picked up first career win allowing no runs on two hits with one strikeout in 1.1 innings in 8-4 win at USC … Second win came two appearances later with no runs on one hit and a strikeout in a 5-1 win over Portland … Recorded first career save in a 4-3 (11-inning) win at Washington State … Held WSU scoreless in the 11th inning of the Ducks’ win … Struck out two and allowed no runs in a season-high 3.0 innings pitched in a 11-0 win over Rice in the NCAA Regional Tournament … Had a season-high three strikeouts three times … First three strikeout game came in 1.1 innings pitched in a loss at Cal State Fullerton … Struck out three in 1.2 innings pitched in a 12-4 win over Cal State Northridge … Had three Ks in 3.0 innings in a 12-7 win at Seattle … Didn’t allow a run over a six-game stretch from April 9 to April 28 (7.1 IP).

Earned first-team All-NWAACC Southern Region honors after batting .328 with seven home runs and 29 RBI … Finished tied for seventh in the NWAACC in home runs, while ranking 20th in RBI and 48th in batting average.

 2009 SEASON
A part-time first baseman for Oregon, appeared in 35 games and made 19 starts ... Started off the season slow offensively, but ended the year starting 11 games from April 26 - May 17, hitting .222 during that stretch with two doubles, two runs scored and two walks ... During a six-game span from May 9-17, was second on the team batting .286 (6-for-21) ... Tallied two multiple-hit games in that stretch ... On the year, batted .175 (11-for-63) with three runs scored, three RBI, three doubles, one home run and five walks ... Hit his first career home run in Oregon’s 5-3 victory at California, hitting a two-run round tripper on a 3-0 offering to give the Ducks a 2-0 lead in the second … Oregon’s, 3-2, 10-inning victory over Oregon State … Walked to bring in the game-tying run in the eighth inning ... Defensively had just one error on the year in 192 chances for a .995 fielding percentage ... Also had 20 assists and was a part of 18 double plays.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2008 graduate of Thurston High School in Springfield, Ore ... Played four years of baseball and one year of basketball ... A pitcher and infielder at Thurston, was the state of Oregon MVP during his senior season under head coach Phil Dube’ ... Other honors during his career included Midwestern League MVP and first-team all-state and all-league selections ... Was Oregon’s first recruit to commit for the 2009 season.
