After sitting out the 2012 fall season and taking classes at Oregon, the Weber State transfer will add experience in 2013 for the returning NCAA and Pac-12 runners-up who graduated two senior starters at outside hitter (National Player of the Year Alaina Bergsma and Katherine Fischer). For the Wildcats, the two-time All-Big Sky honorable mention outside hitter ranked top three in the league as a junior in 2011 in aces, points and kills, and sixth in the latter two categories as a sophomore in 2010. Racked up 20 kills in five matches combined as a sophomore and junior, and led the team in kills, points, and aces both campaigns.
BEFORE OREGON (2011 - at Weber State): As a junior, the repeat All-Big Sky honorable mention led the team in kills (347, 3.40 p/s), aces (31, 0.30 p/s), digs (229, 2.25 p/s) and points (404.5, 3.97 p/s). Also ranked top 10 in the Big Sky Conference in service aces (second, 0.30 p/s), points (second, 3.97 p/s) and kills (third, 3.40 p/s). She ranked second in the league for kills in a match (26 vs. Utah State) - two shy of the league season high - and her 22 kills in five-setter vs. Montana State tied for seventh-most in '11. Among her 19 matches with double-digit kills totals, she had three +20-kill totals with the other in a four-setter vs. Utah State (20). Ended with six double-doubles on season, with her totals vs. BYU-Hawai'i (5S - 17K, 10D), Utah State (5S - 26K, 11D), Utah Valley (18K, 12 D), NAU (16K, 26D) and at Montana (12K, 10D). Her other season highs follow: .375 hitting (4s, vs. Southern Utah, 20K-5E-40A), 28.5 points (5s, vs. Utah State), 26 digs (5S, NAU), 4 aces vs. Utah Valley (5s), 4 blocks (four times), 2 assists (twice).
2010 (at Weber State): As a sophomore, the All-Big Sky Honorable Mention topped the team and conference in service aces (40). Also paced squad in kills (362, 3.23/set) and points (427), and stood sixth in the league in both. Also ranked second on squad in digs (230, 2.05/set). Logged double-digit kills figures in 23 of 31 matches, including a season high of 21 in five sets vs. Montana State. Added 11 digs in that match - one of five double-doubles on season with others against NAU (14S - 6K, 11D), EWU (5S - 15K, 16D) and Sacramento State (5S - 18K, season high 22D) and Wofford (10K, 11D). Twice topped .300 - at Utah State (3S - .314, 15K, 8D) and vs. Utah (3S - 12K, .333). Logged season-high five aces in four-setter vs. Northern Colorado - third-most on the season in the Big Sky - and added 15 kills. Also had four aces vs. EWU both on road and at home in five-setters. Also had four more matches with three aces.
2009 (at Weber State): As a frosh, played in 26 of 29 matches, and stood second among newcomers in block assists (32). Twice logged a season high 11 kills in back-to-back four- and five-set matches en route to 12.5 points at Northern Arizona and vs. Portland State (and hit .429 in the latter tilt). Her season high in digs (4) came in four-setter vs. UTSA and in three sets at Idaho State. Her blocks season high (6) came in two sets vs. Seattle. Twice logged one ace in a match. Her season high in hitting came vs. Portland State (5s, .429, 11K-2E-21A).
PREP: The three-time all-state selection was also a two-time all-region first-team choice. Was honored as the all-around player of the year, and helped Fremont High School place third in the state championships. Club-wise, played for the Blaze team and Club Extreme that were coached by Kolbie Murphey and Al Givens, respectively.
