2014 — Converted to the offensive line early into the fall after taking part in 23 snaps on defense through the first three games, accumulating an assisted tackle in the season opener vs. South Dakota . . . Made his first appearance on the other side of the ball five games later at UCLA and proceeded to step onto the field for the next nine contests . . . Garnered his own single-game best of 15 snaps vs. Colorado in addition to taking part in 13 plays in the conference championship game win over Arizona.
2013 — Made appearances in four games along the defensive line, recording a solo stop in the victory over California . . . While enhancing his skills on the Ducks’ scout team, he stepped onto the field for 13 snaps against both California and Washington State . . . Led all defensive linemen with seven tackles (four unassisted) in the 2014 Spring Game in addition to recording one quarterback sack and recovering one fumble.2012 — Worked on the scout team during his redshirt campaign . . . Credited with three tackles in the Spring Game, including one tackle for loss for 4-yard setback.
BEFORE OREGON — Spent 2011 season at Iowa Western Community College, where he played under head coach Scott Strohmeier . . . In nine games at WCC, he compiled 22 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and seven sacks . . . As a senior at South Fremont High School in 2007, he totaled 41 tackles, two blocked punts and a sack on defense while hauling in 11 receptions for 152 yards and two touchdowns at tight end . . .Embarked on two-year religious mission following high school.
