2015 — Was beginning to play some of his best football of his young career when injuries interfered with his progression and forced him to miss the final six games of the season . . . Broke into the starting lineup at safety for his first time as a collegian at Washington, accumulating a career-best eight tackles (six unassisted) in 74 plays before his exit . . . Recorded his first career interception in the season opener against Eastern Washington, returning it 17 yards . . . Also added a five tackles against the Eagles, including three solo stops . . . Made four solo tackles, including a tackle for loss, and forced one fumble that he subsequently recovered against Georgia State . . . Totaled two tackles while taking 64 snaps against Utah.

2014  One of the team’s top special teams standouts along with being a major contributor off the bench in the secondary stepped onto the field in 12 of 15 games during the season . . . Recorded 16 tackles on the year, with 11 of the stops occurring while covering kickoffs . . . Was credited with nine unassisted takedowns, including an 11-yard quarterback sack in his collegiate debut against South Dakota . . . Excelled as a starter at safety and wide receiver as a sophomore before concentrating his efforts at quarterback and the defensive secondary his final two years, capping his prep career with 1,569 rushing yards (8.5 avg.) and 38 touchdowns . . . The dual-threat quarterback completed 40 of 80 passes for 703 yards and eight touchdowns in 2012 while carrying the football 103 times for 752 yards and 11 scores . . . Named first-team all-Dekalb Country and all-region as an offensive standout while leading the school to the state championship quarterfinals in 2012 . . . Completed the year with a 10-3 ledger and second place in the AAAAA Region 6 standings under head coach Bryan Lamar . . .
