Friday, January 16, 1:30 p.m. PT

The Pac-10 Conference released the 2009 composite football schedule today and the Ducks are slated for at least five appearances on the ESPN/ABC family of networks.

Most notably is the Civil War game against Oregon State, which will air on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. This was the only date change from UO's previous 2009 schedule. The other appearances are as follows:

  • Sept. 5 at Boise State on ESPN or ESPN2
  • Sept. 12 vs. Purdue OR Sept. 19 vs. Utah on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2
  • Sept. 26 vs. Cal on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2
  • Oct. 31 vs. USC on ABC ESPN or ESPN2

By moving the Oregon State game to December, the Ducks gain an extra bye week. The Beavers also have a bye heading into the Civil War. During Pac-10 play, the only other team that has a bye prior to facing the Ducks is Stanford.
