2015 – Earned a starting nod against Washington State while coming off the bench in each of the remaining 12 outings to contribute to a formidable tandem at the position . . . Completed the year catching five passes for 39 yards and one touchdown in addition to improving his prowess as an effective blocker at the line of scrimmage . . . Accumulated all of his receptions in four of the first five games, including two catches for 12 yards in the season-opening win over Eastern Washington . . . Started five of his appearances, finishing the year with 16 catches for 281 yards and three scores . . . Added a 14-yard TD catch against Utah . . . Also enjoyed multiple-reception outings vs. Washington (3-19 yards) and Washington State (2-35 yards) in consecutive weeks . . . BEFORE OREGON — The two-time first-team MaxPrep Division IV all-state tight end helped the Raiders to the IV state championship his senior year and a 14-2 mark under head coach Roger Canepa . . . The four-star choice and Western Athletic League MVP was listed 10th among the nation’s tight end prospects by . . . Caught 33 passes for 625 yards and eight touchdowns in 2012 while completing his prep career in the Semper Fidelis All-America game . . . Included was a season-high five catches for 55 yards vs. St. Mary’s (Stockton) and seven tackles at Ceres (CA) . . . Also recorded 80 tackles and 15.5 quarterback sacks as a linebacker his final year to be named to the Cal-Hi Sports all-state first team on defense . . .
