Saturday's Duckcast
Friday, Aug.
 31, 6 p.m. PT

After nearly eight months of anticipation, the season opener for the reigning Rose Bowl Game champions and three-time defending Pac-12 title holders is finally upon us. Sure it's a night game, but it's going to be great conditions if Oregon AMS Vice President Bobby Corser has anything to do with it. Here is his Duck Cast:

"Duck fans, welcome to the 2012 Oregon Ducks Football season. The last time we saw the boys in action, they were taking the Rose Bowl trophy to the locker room after taking care of the Badgers. The weather that day was perfect. I've got good news, it will be perfect once again as the Ducks take the field at Autzen. The temperatures on Saturday will top out in the mid 70s as the tailgaters fire up the grills and crack open our beverages of choice. Sunny skies will be the call as the teams kick off. Temps will slowly fall into the mid 60s during the game, but it will a very comfortable night for Pac-12 football. If you're going to the game, make sure to take a light sweatshirt and cheer on the boys. Go Ducks!"
