 2014 —The consensus first-team All-American and three-time first-team all-conference standout did nothing to dispel the notion of him as one of the top cornerbacks in the country . . . One of three finalists for the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation’s top defensive back was eighth on the team in tackles (63) but fifth in unassisted stops (43) . . . Also named semifinalists for the Lott IMPACT Trophy and Bednarik Award for a unit that ranked second in the Pac-12 in scoring defense (22.3 ppg) and third in passing efficiency defense . . . Ranked second on the team in pass breakups (6) and interceptions (2) as foes opted to probe other areas of the Oregon defense . . . Also served as a special teams mainstay as four of his tackles took place covering kickoffs . . .
