Long time, no see. And unfortunately it's going to be even longer between now and the next Duckcast you read in this space. But let's not dwell on the negative. Instead, we need to enjoy college football once again, albeit for a single spring day at the end of April. And what kind of day will that be? Oregon AMS Vice President Bobby Corser has the answer:
Friday, April 27, 11:15 p.m. PT
"The last time we saw the boys on the field, they were carrying off an impressive piece of hardware, the Rose Bowl trophy. The Ducks brought home the beautiful, shiny sculpture now residing in the Casanova Center. Fast forward to April. It's been a long offseason and the last few weeks have flown by for the Ducks. Spring practice will conclude with the Spring Game at Autzen and the weather shouldn't be a problem. Partly sunny skies will grace the south valley. Temperatures will be in the lower 50's as the crowd arrives and will slowly climb toward 60. A light wind will make it feel a little chilly. Because it is April, a shower cannot be ruled out completely. If you're heading to the game, dress warmly and cheer on the Ducks as we honor the men and women of the US Armed Forces.""
