The Universityof Oregon’s battle to secure home-field advantage for the Pac-12 Conference Championship Game will kick off at 5 p.m. Saturday in Autzen Stadium, and be televised nationally on ABC Sports.
The Ducks will host Stanford in their regular-season home finale Saturday, with a win not only guaranteeing them the league’s North Division championship but the opportunity to host the conference title game in Autzen Stadium for the second year in a row Nov. 30.
Adding to the atmosphere created by the game’s prime time national telecast will be the return of ESPN’s College GameDay to Eugene for the seventh time, with the live airing of the nation’s premier college football pre-game show to begin at 6 a.m. on ESPNU before switching over to ESPN for the final two hours of the program.
The site of the early morning television production, that features Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, will return to the memorial quad area of campus that staged the show last fall.
The location is on the west side of campus near 13th Avenue and Kincaid Street between the Knight Library (south) and Lillis Building Complex (north).
