2009 - Demonstrated the team's biggest improvement of 55 pounds in the clean lift, as well as the greatest betterment of 50 lbs. in the bench press, during the 2010 off-season workouts.

HIGH SCHOOL - Lined up at wide receiver and strong safety during his two years in the Castlemont HS football program under James Barnes ... Had four catches for 76 yards and two touchdowns his senior year ... Was credited for 60 total tackles while tallying three interceptions and 14 pass deflections as a senior...Helped lead the Knights to a 9-2-1 season, culminating with a win in the Oakland Athletic League (OAL) championship game against Fremont HS ... A track star for the Knights, Tyrone competed in the 100M, 200M, 400M, long jump and triple jump under coach Charles Schncecloth ... Posted a career best 400M time of 49.6 seconds in helping to lead Castlemont to the 2008 OAL Track and Field Championship ...
