2014 — Assumed the role as Oregon’s “big-play” specialist despite ranking ninth on the team in tackles (60) . . . However finished second in tackles-for-loss (11.5) with a team-high 76 yards of lost yardage, and runner-up in quarterback sacks (6.0) . . . He was credited with a pair of tackles for loss in both meetings with Arizona as well as Utah . . . Evolved from a pass rushing specialist to more of a complete player as evidence by his two deflected passes and a pair of passes broken up to go along with 37 solo stops . . . Yet few tackles were probably more critical than stuffing the quarterback for no gain at the goal line to preserve the Ducks’ five-point advantage over Florida State to open the second quarter in the Rose Bowl . . . The 15-game starter posted a personal-best eight tackles during the regular season vs. Arizona and seven against Ohio State in the CFP National Championship Game . . . Tied for third in the Pac-12 with three fumble recoveries while only two league counterparts were credited with more than his three forced fumbles . . . Jarred the football loose from Florida State’s Jameis Winston and returned it for a 58-yard touchdown in the Rose Bowl . . .  2013 — Ducks’ eighth-leading tackler and top-five returnee earned Pac-12 honorable mention all-conference acclaim after finishing 13th in the country (3rd in the league) with four forced fumbles . . . Assuming the role from program’s 2013 first-round NFL draft pick, posted comparable numbers to the former standout’s junior season . . . The first-year starter opened all 13 games, finishing with 60 tackles and team highs in tackles-for-loss (12-50 yards) and quarterback sacks (7.5) . . . Accumulated a season-best seven tackles (4 unassisted) in season-opening win over Nicholls . . . Totaled six solo tackles and a 2013  two quarterback takedowns in win vs. Washington State . . . Finished with six tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in win against California . . .  Credited with QB sacks in seven of his first eight outings, including drops against Virginia, Cal, Colorado, Washington and UCLA, as well as tackles for losses in nine games . . .
