Oregon Postgame Notebook – Game 13 vs. UCLA • JR RB LaMichael James rushed for 219 yards on 25 carries, giving him 1,646 on the season to become the first player in conference history to rush for 1,500 or more yards three times in a career. • With three touchdown passes, JR QB Darron Thomas set the Oregon career record with 63, passing Danny O’Neil, who had 62 from 1991-94. Thomas became the first player at UO with two seasons of 30 touchdown passes (30 in 12 games this year, 30 in 13 games in 2010). • James passed former USC back Marcus Allen (4,810 from 1978-81) for third on the Pac-12’s career rushing list with 4,923 yards. • James tied USC’s LenDale White (2003-05) for second in conference history in career rushing touchdowns with 52. He also equaled White’s 342 career points, which is 10th in Pac-12 history. • Darron Thomas’ third rushing touchdown of the season was his first since recording a pair of TDs on Sept. 24 at Arizona. He had a season-high 60 rushing yards, including a career-best 40-yard run, on four carries. • Thomas had 279 yards of total offense, passing Dennis Dixon (6,337 yards from 2004-07) for sixth on Oregon’s career chart with 6,360. • Oregon has now scored 600 points on the season, second only to last season’s 611. • After failing on all four 4th-down attempts last week vs. Oregon State, UO’s first attempt on 4th down Friday resulted in a 30-yard touchdown run by James. The Ducks later scored on a 25-yard pass from Thomas to SO WR Daryle Hawkins on 4th down. • The crowd of 59,376 (seating capacity 54,000) marked the 82st consecutive sellout for an Oregon football game at Autzen Stadium, dating to 1999. The last non-sellout was Sept. 18, 1999 vs. Nevada. • Taylor Embree’s 20-yard punt return in the 3rd quarter was the longest by a UO opponent this season. • Oregon eclipsed 500 yards of total offense for an eighth time this season. • Ducks will make their second trip in three years to the Rose Bowl Game and will play in a BCS bowl for the third consecutive season.
