2015 – Accumulated his most experience of his collegiate career, earning starting nods vs. Georgia State, Colorado and Washington State among his six appearances . . . Completed 23 of 31 passes for 228 yards and a pair of touchdowns in his starting debut in the win over the Panthers in his most extensive play of his career (74 snaps), connecting on nine of 10 aerials in the third quarter . . . Returned two weeks later to engineer a victory in Boulder via a running game that netted 361 yards . . . Came off the bench against Utah to throw for 139 yards and a TD, as well as ran for 37 yards,  before passing for 123 yards (13-22) and two scores while adding 52 yards on the ground against the Cougars . . . Finished the year completing 61-99 passes (61.6%) for 580 yards and five touchdowns and added another 92 yards on the ground . . . Led the Ducks to a field goal in the closing seconds of the opening half of the Alamo Bowl . . . The first-team academic all-conference choice also was named to the academic all-district first team by the College Sports Information Directors of America . . . Completed requirements for his degree in business administration with a 3.82 GPA following the fall term of 2015.

2014 – Completed 21 of 28 passes for 207 yards and one touchdown off the bench for the first Heisman Trophy winner in school history . . . Appeared in 10 games, logging the bulk of his playtime in wins over South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, and Florida State in the Rose Bowl . . .  Finished the season with a 75.0 completion percentage while averaging 7.4 yards/attempt through the air . . . Completed 11 of 12 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown in the season opener against South Dakota . . . Also tossed a 28-yard career-long pass against the Coyotes . . . Went six for eight, amassing 72 aerial yards in the win over Wyoming . . .  Gained 10 yards on five attempts on the ground, including a 13-yard career-long run against the Cowboys . . . Enjoyed a near-flawless 2015 Spring Game performance, completing all nine attempts for 223 yards (including a 52-yard scoring connection) and three touchdowns . . . 2013 — Came off the bench for nine appearances in relief of program’s all-conference quarterback, with his most extensive duty occurring against Nicholls, Tennessee and Colorado . . . Finished the year completing eight of 13 passes for 57 yards and one interception in addition to carrying the football five times for 22 yards and one touchdown . . . Enjoyed a string of seven completions in eight attempts within a six-game span after succeeding on only one of three throws in his collegiate debut vs. Nicholls . . . Overcame any first-game jitters by reaching the end zone on an 8-yard run . . .  Completed both of his tosses for 15 yards against the Volunteers before connecting on two of three passes for 14 yards while rushing for 12 yards on two carries in Boulder, Colo. . . . Completed seven of 12 tries for 121 yards and one score while adding 18 yards on the ground in the 2014 Spring Game.

2012 — Traveled with team as a reserve quarterback during his redshirt season while gaining experience on the scout team . . . Completed 22 of 28 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns in 2013 Spring Game.

BEFORE OREGON — A two-year starter at quarterback, won the East Bay Athletic League (EBAL) MVP in 2011 . . . Completed 234 passes, piling up 3,278 passing yards with 31 passing touchdowns while rushing for 136 yards and seven additional scores as a senior . . . Best individual game came against Heritage High School when he completed 20 passes for 355 yards and five touchdowns . . . As a junior, threw for 2,449 passing yards and 26 touchdowns while adding 205 yards on the ground.
