Friday, Sept. 21, 5 p.m. PT
For the fourth straight week, Autzen Stadium will host a home football game. The difference this time around is Oregon students are back on campus and the opponent is a known conference rival. Add in a 7:30 p.m. PT kickoff and an ESPN national telecast, and you have a recipe for an electric atmosphere for the opening of Pac-12 play. For the weekly weather update, here's AMS Vice President Bobby Corser with his Duck Cast:
"The Oregon Ducks have taken care of business so far on the field, going unbeaten in non-conference play. The weather has been glorious by northwest standards to this point. The Wildcats of Arizona are used to temperatures in the 90s and 100s. Coming to Eugene could be a shock to their system.Mostly cloudy skies will be call for the Pac-12 opener at Autzen. Tempertatures will be in the low to mid 60s while everyone tailgates and will be into the upper 50's at kick off. A Northerly breeze will make it feel a few degrees colder. If you're going to the game, make sure to bundle up as it will be chilly in the stands. Wear Black, grab some hot chocolate at the concession stand, and cheer on the boys as they begin to defend their Pac-12 title. Go Ducks!"
