Raza Helps Oregon Make Push In Third Round In LA

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Oregon freshman Sulman Raza shot 70 (E) to lead the Ducks in the third round of the Pac-12 Championships at the Los Angeles Country Club on Tuesday afternoon.

Raza's round helped move the Ducks up three spots in the overall standings. Oregon (+51, 362-370-369) enters Wednesday's final round in sixth place. California (+6) leads the tournament by two strokes over UCLA (+8).

Raza (+6), who sits in a tie for 14th in the individual standings with teammate Rak Cho (71-69-76), parred every hole on the front nine before bogeying the par-4 10th and finishing up the round with a birdie on the par-4 18th.

Freshmen Brandon McIver (+11) and Zach Foushee (+12) each shot a 74 (+4) today. They follow Raza and Cho in the overall standings, sitting in a tie for 31st and a tie for 36th, respectively.

Senior Robbie Ziegler and sophomore Jonathan Woo both enter Wednesday's final round at 19-over par for the tournament. Ziegler carded a 75 (+5) today, while Woo checked in with a 78 (+8).

California's Max Homa (-8) leads the individual field by five strokes over UCLA's Jonathan Garrick (-3).
