HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIOR COLLEGE
Tabbed as the nation’s third-best junior college defensive lineman by SuperPrep magazine as well as the No. 6 overall JC prospect by JCFootball.com. Played a key role for team that ranked among the top-20 in the state in rushing defense (110.8 avg.). The firstteam J.C. Grid-Wire All-American posted 42 unassisted tackles along with 27 assists in 2001 for a program that ended the year with a 4-6 record. Also added 28 quarterback hurries, eight sacks and four deflections to his 2001 resume, and recovered three fumbles and forced three others. The team MVP intercepted one pass for a touchdown early in the year that secured a last-second win over Palomar. Possessing all the physical intangibles as well as the passion for the game needed to become a dominating presence at the Division I level, the Warriors’ two-year starter and 2001 team captain attracted first-team all-Region IV acclaim following his sophomore season.

OREGON
Enjoyed an excellent showing in 2003 after utilizing his redshirt season to gain valuable experience behind a dominant defensive line. Has all the tools, including size, speed and quickness, and now adds a knowledge of the defensive scheme. Is a solid pass rusher and only needs to improve his run defense to be an all-around playmaker. Is on the verge of becoming a dominant player along the line after another good spring outing and has shown that he has all the attributes to become a big contributor this fall. The team’s third-leading returning tackler among down linemen finished the ‘04 Spring Game recording four tackles.

2003 • JUNIOR
Gained experience behind an extremely talented corps of defensive linemen, but did step onto the field in all 12 games. Had at least one tackle in six of those contests, including a careerbest four stops vs. Nevada. Also recorded his first career sack against the Wolfpack and notched his second vs. Stanford while also accounting for three tackles. Steadily improved his game as the season progressed and seems primed to step into a more prominent role in his final year.

2002 • REDSHIRT
Earned defensive scout team player of the week honors for preparations leading up to games vs. USC, Arizona State and Arizona during his redshirt season.
