PERSONAL — Born Anthony Hart Trucks on Dec. 1, 1983 in Martinez, Calif. Parents: Randall and Gina Hart. Family: Two brothers, three sisters. High School (Coach): Antioch (Ferris Anthony) ‘02. Major: Pre-Computer Information Science.

HIGH SCHOOL — Acquired all-region honors from PrepStar magazine after grabbing 37 passes for 620 yards and five touchdowns as a prep senior. Chosen first-team East Bay Cream of the Crop by the Contra Costa Times, the two-time first-team all-Bay Valley League standout also ranked second on his team in tackles with 75 (including 40 solo tackles) in addition to 15 quarterback sacks despite missing three games due to injuries. The three-year starter and team captain also received team's Coach's Award for exemplary play in addition to being named Panthers' defensive player of the year for program that accumulated 5-4-1 record.

OREGON — Few players could hold the key to team’s defensive success to the extent as defense’s second-leading returning tackler who returns as squad’s most experienced linebacker. Table set for him to end collegiate career in sterling fashion as he possesses all the tools to thrive in a system that is geared toward relying on his natural abilities and instinct. Although talents may best suit him roam the perimeter, provides the flexibility to feel at home at any one of three linebacker positions. Runs well, as proven by last spring’s 4.75 electronic clocking, and excels at change of direction, as indicated by 3.81 20-yard shuttle time which ranked second on the team. Also tested as Ducks’ third-strongest linebacker, highlighted by 450-lb. squat. Maintains demeanor as one of Oregon’s top special teams standouts despite status as veteran standout. One of off-season’s biggest personal strides was accomplished by stepping up off-field leadership role.

2004 — Oregon’s fourth-leading tackler was second in quarterback sacks as a nine-game starter. Tallied a career-high 11 tackles vs. UCLA and added seven stops against Arizona State and Oregon State. Also finished among team’s top five special teams standouts with seven tackles while earning weekly special teams plaudits for play against California. Took part in more than 80 plays on six of 11 occasions, including 99 snaps at Oregon State.

2003 — Although there were veteran players ahead of him, showed tremendous flashes early in the year, accounting for four tackles in the season-opener vs. Mississippi State and following that performance with a career-high six tackles vs. Nevada. Was also a special team’s stalwart, earning the squad’s special team’s player of the week honor for his play vs. Mississippi State.

2002 — Made a name for himself as a special teams standout, finishing the season third on the team with 14 special team’s tackles. Played in the final 11 games of the season, including a season-high 30 snaps vs. Idaho as well as 20 vs. Portland State. Credited with a season-high five tackles vs. Idaho.
