2010 — Made two stops in win at Tennessee • Recovered a pair of fumbles and made two tackles in win vs. New Mexico • Member of the Oregon Iron Club, totaling 1,173 pounds in the clean, squat and bench during winter testing • 395-lb. bench press equalled the top mark on the team and his 32-inch vertical leap ranked second among linebackers.
2009 — Made first collegiate start against Stanford at strongside linebacker • Accumulated nine tackles during the regular season, while playing linebacker and on special teams in 11 games • Saw the field for at least 20 plays eight times and played 30 or more snaps on four occasions • One of four junior college transfers to enroll early and participate in spring practices • Concluded 2010 winter workouts pacing all linebackers with a 395-lb. bench press.
BEFORE OREGON — California Community Colleges Coaches Association 2008 All-America and All-California Region II first team defense • Named a four-star recruit and the No. 12 overall JC player in the nation by Scout.com • Had an outstanding season for Sierra in 2008, posting 72 tackles, nine sacks, three forced fumbles, three interceptions and 14.5 tackles for loss while earning first-team JC Grid-wire All-American honors • Played running back and linebacker while at Laguna Creek HS • In high school, had 149 tackles his senior season with 2.0 sacks, three fumble recoveries and a blocked field goal.
