Each week O Heroes sits down with one of our student-athletes to get to know more about them on and off the court. This week’s feature is on Tatum Norton, a freshman on the Oregon Volleyball team.
Norton’s volunteering efforts inspire her teammates to get involved. Over the past year she has contributed to many O Heroes events. She participated in Quackin’ Action, starred in her team’s Showtime “Thrift Shop” video submission, and volunteered at a Habitat for Humanity workday with Oregon State University SAAC members.
Her commitment to working with people can also be seen through her interest in her intended major, Family & Human Services.
A remarkable O Hero, Norton’s positive attitude has created a lasting impression on the kids she works with. After graduation, she hopes to play volleyball overseas, and travel the world.
