The Oregon volleyball team is calling upon the Duck faithful to help complete “Operation 6200” an effort to fill the lower bowl of Matthew Knight Arena, Sept. 27 against Washington.
The matchup will open Pac-12 play at home for Oregon and will serve as one of the premier matches on the Ducks schedule as Oregon is currently No. 20 in the AVCA rankings while the rivals to the north are No. 3 in the nation.
Because such a large crowd is expected, both tickets and parking can be purchased in advance HERE. Fans who purchase tickets online will receive a 50 percent discount by entering the promo code “BEATUW”.
“We love playing in front of our fans, especially when we can get some of the crowds we have drawn over the last few years, it’s truly amazing,” head coach Jim Moore said. “It’s a huge lift for our players too. They really feed off the energy.”
The record attendance for an Oregon volleyball home match came against California, Oct. 7, 2011 with 6,210 fans packing the stands.
