Transportation & Directions
In the case that the camper will not be arriving by car we have provided the following links to assist you in making travel reservations.
By Plane
Eugene Airport
The Eugene Airport is approximately 20 minutes from the University of Oregon campus.
Portland Airport (PDX)
The Portland Airport is approximately a two hour drive from the UO campus.
Airport Shuttles
Shuttle service available from Eugene Airport. Please call Omni Shuttle at
541 461 -7959 to schedule drop off and/or pickup. If
your travel plans require you to fly in and out of the Portland
Airport, then call City to City Shuttle at 541 758 8001 to book
reservations.
By Bus
Eugene Greyhound Station
The Greyhound Bus Station is approximately 2 miles from campus. There is a $5.00 round-trip charge for shuttle service to and from the bus station.
By Train
Eugene Amtrak
The Eugene Amtrak Station is approximately 2-1/2 miles from campus. There is a $5.00 round-trip charge for shuttle service to and from the train station.
Parking
For individuals who choose to drive their automobiles whether you are an overnight or day camper), you are encouraged to purchase a PARKING PERMIT from PUBLIC SAFETY. There is a parking garage located underneath MKA and you can pay for a permit to park there. If you choose not to purchase a permit (it is not mandatory), be prepared with coins for parking meters and be advised that Public Safety will issueparking tickets which will be the responsibility of the owner of the vehicle. We
recommend that you play it safe and get a permit.
