This weekend, No. 23 Oregon travels to Oregon State (8-19, 1-12) for its second Civil War test of the season after it won the first meeting, 3-0, in Eugene last month.

UO sports a 52-41-1 all-time series edge, thanks to an 8-3 mark under Moore that includes an 8-1 run the last five years. Oregon’s only losses under his direction came in Corvallis last year, 3-2, and in his first season 2005 when OSU won 3-2 and 3-0.

Last weekend, the Ducks split in the desert with a 3-2 win at ASU and 3-0 loss at then-No. 23 Arizona; while OSU dropped both matches via a sweep at ASU and 3-1 decision at then-No. 23 UA.

Among the Ducks’ highlights in Tempe, senior outside hitter Heather Meyers posted her second +20-kill effort of 2010 with her 24 kills – one off her career high – and hit +.300 (.370) for the 12th time this campaign. Sophomore outside hitter Katherine Fischer posted similar numbers (career-high 24 kills, .297), and her 13 digs rounded out her 11th double-double of the season – third-most in the Pac-10.

Freshman setter Lauren Plum registered a career high 65 assists – third-best in the Pac-10 this season - and added 10 digs for her sixth career double-double. Sophomore outside hitter Jocelyn Levig’s five blocks was her seventh tally this year of five or more - one more than the rest of the team combined. Sophomore libero Haley Jacob’s 23 digs were one off her career high.

Redshirt sophomore outside hitter Alaina Bergsma added double-digit kill totals vs. both ASU (14) and UA (11), and has 15 double-digit kill figures this campaign.
