EUGENE - Looking ahead to one of its biggest home weekends of action, the No. 2-ranked University of Oregon volleyball team has a host of ticket and marketing promotions set for its matches at Matthew Knight Arena against its Bay Area rivals.

For Friday's 6 p.m. Spike For the Cure match vs. California, fans that wear pink will get G.A. tickets for $3 at the door.

UO staff and faculty with current ID's also receive free admission Friday night, while current Duck students always get in free to regular-season matches with valid student IDs.

As part of the area Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, a special raffle will also be held on-site Friday by the Willamette Valley Cancer Institute, and proceeds from the $2 raffle tickets will support local research and treatment programs.

Duck fans can also look for special pink additions to the Oregon uniforms as they take on the recent NCAA runners-up from Berkeley who won the Pac-12 title in 2010.

UO took the first series meeting this season by a 3-1 count in the Bay Area, while Cal won last year's showdown in front of a record Matthew Knight Arena crowd (6,210).

Later this weekend on Sunday, November 4, Duck fans can then cheer No. 2 Oregon on vs. No. 1 Stanford at 1 p.m. - Eugene's first volleyball match between the nation's top two teams.

As part of Sunday's BI-MART Family Day ticket promotion, 2 adults and 2 children receive GA for $12 with a Bi-Mart card at the door.

Immediately after Sunday's contest, youth are invited to a free clinic with the Duck players and coaches, and kids can also make posters / signs at the marketing table before the match.

Fans can also get autographs from the Ducks players on the court after each match.

Oregon Volleyball fans should also vote online for senior Alaina Bergsma for one of the nation's top awards - the NCAA Senior CLASS Award - and CLICK HERE to submit your ballot.
