JUNIOR SEASON (2008) - All-American
The All-Pac-10 honoree exploded onto national scene as one of West Coast’s top hitters and blockers, and left an equally indelible mark on the Oregon record books...was one of three Ducks sighted on various All-America teams – AVCA (Second Team), Mizuno (Third Team), Under Armour (honorable mention) – and the same trio were also All-Pac-10 and All-Regional choices...her season hitting average (.389) ranked third in the Pac-10 and 16th nationally and broke the former UO mark by 0.25 (Sue Harbour, .364, 1984)...her 143 block assists broke Cathy Hill’s former school record by six (137, 1980)...her 12 block assists in five sets at No. 12 USC was third-best in school history, and only two off school record (14)...she also had a pair of all-time UO top-10 hitting marks at Washington State (#4t, .786) and at Arizona (#7t, .750), and a similar combined blocks tally at No. 12 USC (#9t, 12)...was tabbed the Pac-10 Player of the Week (11/3) after her efforts at the L.A. schools vs. No. 12 USC (23 kills, .594, 12 block assists) and No. 9 UCLA (17 kills, .452)...overall, she had the team’s top four hitting marks and six of its top eight with other totals vs. Utah (.714), vs. No. 5 UCLA (.667), vs. UNLV (.632) and at Kansas (.615) – among her 12 matches over .500 and 16 over regular season’s end, paced team in blocks in 20 matches, hitting in 16 contests, kills in four matches and service aces opening two NCAA Tournament matches, led UO in blocks (10, 1.43 b/s), and ranked third on team in hitting (.367) and points (21, 3.0 p/s) and fourth in kills (16, 2.29) NCAA opener vs. Delaware, racked up eight blocks and hit .364 and had five kills...came back with 11 kills and .368 mark and two blocks vs. NCAA Third Round, led UO with her eight blocks, her fifth match with eight or more...started season off with all-tournament team nods in the Oregon Classic and State Farm Classic and was the Kansas Invitational tourney MVP... after season, was tabbed to USA Volleyball A2 National Team and played on silver medal team at national tournament in May.

Started 32 of the 33 matches she played, and ranked second on team in blocks (110) and per game average (0.98) postseason, led team with six block assists vs. Missouri State in first round, then had nine kills (.386), five digs and three block assists at No. 11 Kansas State...matched her career high with four service aces in a three-set sweep against Idaho State (8/24)...had nine kills, four block assists and three digs in a three-game sweep of Mississippi State...hit a career-high .714 (5-0-7) in win at No. 20 Ohio State (9/15)...set a new season high with 12 kills (.476) while adding six block assists in 1-3 loss at No. 4 UCLA (10/11)...hit .471 (9-1-17) with six total blocks in upset win over No. 6 USC (11/8)...set a new career high in blocks against Oregon State (8.0) — the best single-match mark of any Duck during the year — and added 12 kills and hit .556 (11/16).


Capped an impressive rookie season earning Pac-10 All-Freshman Team honorable mention accolades..started 27 matches, and stood second on the team with 13 solo blocks...had a season-high 20.5 points and eight digs in a 3-2 victory over Portland State...during a 3-1 upset at No. 8 California,  led the team with 13 kills, 14.5 points and hit 3-1 win vs. Arizona State, had 12 kills, four total blocks, two aces and 16.5 points...her season best .444 hitting percentage (10-2-8) came in a 3-0 victory over Washington State... her other top hitting marks against Pac-10 foes were .368 (9-2-19) in a 3-1 win over Oregon State and .308  (9-1-26) in a 3-1 loss at No. 5 Washington...twice during the year produced five blocks; in a 3-1 victory at Cal State Northridge and during a 3-1 victory at Long Beach her collegiate debut totaled a match-high four aces in a 3-0 season-opening victory over UC Irvine at the Oregon Kickoff Classic.

As a senior was a 2005 PrepVolleyball All-American... 4A All-State First Team selection, Intermountain Conference Player of the Year and All-Conference First Team pick as a senior and 4A All-Tournament Second Team selection...two-time team MVP...named HS female Athlete of the Year...played for the Nike NW Juniors Volleyball Club...was also a member of the track team.

Parents are Enesi and Rosie...has one brother, Demetri...Sociology major.
