EUGENE, Ore. – With the deadline for season ticket renewals approaching the Oregon Ducks had a “Meet and Greet” on Wednesday night to introduce members of the 2013-14 men’s basketball team to a group of lucky fans at Matthew Knight Arena.
The renewal deadline for season ticket holders from last season to guarantee their seats for this year is next Friday, August 16. The ticket office is also beginning the process of taking deposits for new season ticket holders which will guarantee those fans a selection time to select their seats the week of September 16.
Season tickets start at $150 and include Oregon’s game against Illinois in the Rose Garden in Portland on December 14. In addition to the Illini, the Ducks’ home schedule includes Pac-12 games against Oregon State, Washington, UCLA, Arizona, Stanford, Arizona State, California, USC and Washington State.
The Ducks are coming off one of their best seasons in school history advancing to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament. Oregon finished 28-9 and won the Pac-12 Conference Tournament before winning two games in the NCAA Tournament. The 28 wins were the fourth most in school history and the most by an Oregon team since 2006-07.
Sophomore guards Damyean Dotson and Dominic Artis return to lead Oregon after starting as true freshmen last season. Dotson earned a spot on the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team, while Oregon was 23-5 in games that Artis played including 22-3 in his starts.
