Illya Lebow begins her sixth season with women’s basketball at Oregon, joining the program in December 2007 to provide full-time administrative support.

She is directly involved with organizing the annual postseason banquet, summer camps and coordinating day-to-day office duties.

Prior to joining the Oregon Athletics Department, Lebow worked in the commercial insurance industry for 12 years, specializing in workers’ compensation.

Lebow has lived in Eugene for 41 years, graduating from South Eugene High School in 1985, and attending UO from 1990-92.

Lebow married her husband, Dan Smernes in 1992. The couple have two sons, Daniel and Drew.
