Oregon Head Coach Paul Westhead

Opening Statement...
"We are in the process of getting better; hopefully next Sunday will be a turnaround for us. We had some offensive issues today, we just didn't score enough points. We missed a lot of makeable shots."

On playing with only seven players...
"I think the seven players did all they could do. We just fell a little short today."

On Megan Carpenter...
"She kind of had the mentality, if you need me here I am. She really stepped up big."

On getting faster at the point...
"For us one thing leads to another, if we can get more speed at the point then it will open up more shots."

Junior Danielle Love

On tonight's matchup...
"Everyone was really excited and pumped up to play. I felt like we were giving our best efforts. The execution just wasn't in our favor tonight."

On playing tonight with 7 players...
"I don't really think fatigue was an issue. There were a few spurts where it was tough. But overall we just didn't know down our shots."

Sophomore Megan Carpenter

On her career-best performance tonight...
"I think the team really stepped up tonight. We have two freshmen that have to be in the mix. Devyn (Galland) made some good shots. Jill ( Alleyne)  had some great rebounds for us. So I think everyone stepped up."
