Season Stats Career Stats

In UO all-time goalkeeping record books, Steele has improved to first for lowest career GAA (1.19), second in career shutouts (13), and fourth in career saves (244) and wins (14) … became the fourth player in program history to lead the team in all goalkeeping statistics for three consecutive seasons.

2013 (Junior):  Started all 19 matches, logging all but 45 minutes in goal … ranked third in the Pac-12 in saves (91) … posted the third best goals against average (1.09) in program history of goalkeepers to play at least 10 games … led the Ducks to five shutouts, which ties for fourth-best in UO history … also reached the program record books for the fifth lowest goals allowed mark (21) and seventh most saves (91) … one of five players to start all 19 games… named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 17, 2013, for her efforts against No. 6 BYU, where she shutout the Cougars through 110 minutes … made a season-high nine saves against USC … held Portland State, No. 6 BYU, Washington State, Arizona and No. 12 California scoreless … denied a penalty kick against California, leading Oregon to a win over the second-highest ranked opponent in program history … only two of Oregon’s defeats came by more than a single goal with Steele between the posts … letterwinner.

2012 (Sophomore): Anchored the defensive efforts at goalkeeper for the Ducks playing in 19 of the 20 matches … started in 18 matches ... made 78 saves leading to a .796 save percentage on the season, the sixth-highest in the Pac-12 Conference … ranked fourth in the Pac-12 for average shutouts per game (0.32) … her goals against average (1.05) was the second-best single-season effort in school history … led the Ducks in all six shutouts, tying the second-highest number of shutouts by an Oregon goalkeeper … logged a total of 1,711 minutes of playing time … broke her previous record by allowing just 20 goals, the fourth-lowest number in program history … on two occasions she matched her career-high for saves in a game (9, vs. Utah and Arizona State).

2011 (Freshman): Recorded playing time in 19 of 20 total games … had 75 saves for the season and is ranked fourth in Oregon’s history for the individual single-season record of goals allowed with 25 in 19 games with a 1.48 goals allowed average, seventh best in Oregon single-season history … ranked fifth in the Pac-12 in saves per game with 75, and fourth in saves per game with an average of 3.95 … recorded a total of 1514 minutes for the season and faced a total of 191 goals … was one of thirty players in the country invited to the U.S. U20 Women’s National Team camp in 2012, and was one of only four goalkeepers asked to participate.

High School: Played her senior season at Ursuline High School … was selected to the 2010 NSCAA Youth All-Region soccer team … was a Cum Laude student during every semester of her high school career.

ODP/Club:
 One of three goalkeepers invited to the U20 USA National Team camp in April of 2011 … played for the U18 USA Women’s National Team … was the No. 10 ranked recruit in Northern California … played club ball for the Mustang SC Rampage under the tutelage of head coach Joe Owen … led her team to unprecedented state, regional, and national success …club team won the Cal North State Cup championship twice and was selected inaugural members of the Elite Club National League (ECNL) … was the ECNL Challenge A League Champions as well as the ECNL National Champions in 2010 … also won the Surf Cup championship in 2009 … Steele was one of three or four goalkeepers in the country to be invited to a pair of USA U18 Women’s National Team Camps in January and April 2009.
