WALNUT CREEK, Calif.- Eight University of Oregon women's soccer student-athletes were named to the 2011 Pac-12 Women's Soccer All-Academic teams, Commissioner Larry Scott announced Monday.

Oregon did not place anyone on the first or second team, but had their eight be named to the honorable mention team.

Those eight were seniors Taylor Jones and Cody Miles, juniors Mo Fitzgerald, Kelsey Hones, Maddy Mercier, Scout Libke and Lauren Thompson and sophomore Achijah Berry.

Arizona State and Washington State led the first and second teams with four total selections. ASU's Nicki Stone had the highest GPA on either team with a 4.09 in Tourism Development & Management.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

The Ducks finished the 2011 campaign with an 8-9-3 overall mark.
