EUGENE, Ore. – Jordan Hasay, Anne Kesselring and Ben DeJarnette were named to the Capital One Academic All-District 8 track & field/cross country teams on Thursday.

Hasay and Kesselring, who will compete at next week’s NCAA Championships at Hayward Field, were women’s all-district selections for the third consecutive year, while DeJarnette was a first time all-district men’s choice.

Hasay, a senior from Arroyo Grande, Calif, is a 17-time all-American who led Oregon to NCAA titles in cross country and indoor track this year, plus the Pac-12 title outdoors. She finished third at 2012 NCAA Cross Country Championships. Indoors at 2013 NCAA meet, Hasay was second at 3,000 meters and fourth at 5,000 to score 13 team points. She has qualified for the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Championships at 5,000 meters.

An 11-time All-American, Kesselring helped Oregon win its fifth straight Pac-12 title by finishing third in the 800 meters and fourth in the 1,500 at the 2013 league meet. The senior from Nurnberg, Germany, is a 2013 Outdoor NCAA qualifier at 1,500 meters. Kesselring scored on the distance medley relay for Oregon's 2013 NCAA national championship indoor team. She was the 2011 NCAA and Pac-10 champion in the 800 meters. She holds school records in the indoor mile (4:32.61) and distance medley relay. Kesselring has scored points on all of Oregon's four straight NCAA Indoor championship teams.

Dejarnette, a junior from Mechanicsville, Va., won the NCAA's Elite 89 Award as the top student-athlete competing at the 2012 NCAA Cross Country Championships. He earned second place in the Park Pier Invitational (17:53:00, 6,000 meters), before finishing third overall at the Dellinger Invitational, running the 8,000 meter race with a time of 23:49. This spring, DeJarnette ran his top outdoor 10,000 meter time of 30:42.75 at the Oregon Relays.
