2013-14: Outdoor – Pac-12 and NCAA Championships qualifier…opened the outdoor season with a first place finish height of 16-4.75 (5.00m) in the pole vault…followed up with first place finishes at the Pepsi Dual (16-0.75) and the Oregon Relays (17-0.75/5.20m)…came in second at the OSU High Performance Meet (15-9/4.80m)…finished in eighth at the Pac-12 Championships with a height of 16-2.75 (4.95m)...Indoor – Finished sixth at the UW Preview in the pole vault with a height of 16-4.75 (5.00m)…finished in 10th at the Rod McCravy Memorial with a height of 16-7.50 (5.07m)…took fifth at the Husky Classic (16-7.50/5.07m)…came in ninth at the MPSF Indoor Championships with a height of 16-4.75 (5.00m)…Season Bests – Pole Vault – Indoor – 16-7.50 (5.07m), Husky Classic, Seattle, Wash., (2/15/14); Outdoor – 17-0.75 (5.20m), Oregon Relays, Eugene, Ore., (4/19/14).

2012-13: Outdoor – Won the Oregon Twilight with a career-best vault of 17-0.75/5.20m…placed ninth at the Pac-12 Championships…Indoor – Won both the Blue and Orange Opener and the UW Husky Classic with marks of 16-7.25/4.95m…took fifth at the MPSF Championships…Season Bests – Pole Vault - 17-0.75/5.20m, Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore., (5/3/13).
 
2011-12: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons. Outdoors - Competed unattached four times in the pole vault. Twice cleared 15-11/4.85m (Oregon Relays, Oregon Twilight).
 
Prep: A state champion pole vaulter and USATF Junior Olympic competitor for Banks High School. Won the 2011 Oregon state 4A title as a senior (15-6). Set personal best height at 16-0 in winning the 2011 Cowapa League title, where also claimed the long jump crown (20-9.75). Also took ninth in the vault at the 2011 Indoor Nationals. Placed third in the pole vault at the 2010 state meet. Leapt to fifth in the pole vault at the 2009 USATF Junior Olympics. High School Bests: Pole Vault - 16-0, 2011.
 
Personal: Major is sociology. Father Joaquin Hidalgo played soccer collegiately for the University of Dayton.
