Meet Information
Participating Teams
Oregon, Texas A&M, Washington, Washington State
Entry Procedure
All entries must be completed online at Direct Athletics (DirectAthletics.com). Entries will not be accepted by telephone, fax, or e-mail.
Entry Deadline
All entries are due by 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1.
Start Lists
Start lists will be sent to all head coaches by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3.
Please provide any changes to the start list by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.
Schedule of Events (please see attached schedule)
A final time schedule will be sent by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.
Practice Times
The facility will be available for practice on Friday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. The discus ring will be available for practice from 2:00-3:30 p.m. The javelin runway will be available from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Please contact Lance Deal at lanced@uoregon.edu to notify him of your arrival time on Friday. Alternate practice times may be arranged by contacting Lance Deal in advance.
Overnight Storage
Teams may bring implements and vaulting poles to Hayward Field on Friday for overnight storage. Please bring your equipment to the weight room building at the southeast corner of the track by the start line for the 1,500 meter race. Staff will be on-site from 3:00-5:00 p.m. for storage.
Facility Access
Hayward Field will open to competitors on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Only athletes will be permitted inside competition areas. Coaches are not permitted on the field of play.
Packets
Coaches and athletes may pick up packets at the Bowerman Building (located on 15th Street at the northwest corner of the track) on Friday from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Scoring
Individual Events: 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
Relay Events: 9-7-6-5
A maximum of two athletes from each team will score. In events with two or more athletes you DO NOT need to designate your scoring athletes, they will be your top two finishers.
Number of Entrants
Events are limited to the following entries per team. A second section will be added for all lane races only if necessary.
All laned races 2 athletes per team in the fastest section
800 meters 2 athletes per team in the fastest section
1,500 meters 4 athletes per team in the fastest section
3,000m Steeplechase 4 athletes per team
5,000 meters no limit
All field events 3 athletes per team
Relay events ONE relay team per school will score. "B" teams must be designated as non-scoring by Friday at 5:00 p.m.

Implement Inspection
Implement inspection will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the southeast corner of Hayward Field. All implements must be inspected at least one hour before the start of their event.
Athlete Seating
Please direct your athletes to sit in section L of the east grandstands. Seating is not permitted in the west grandstands.
Media
We anticipate another great crowd and a large group of media at Hayward Field. Please remember that it is customary for all event winners to jog a victory lap at Hayward Field and be available to speak with the media after their competition. Requests for media and photographer credentials should be directed to Greg Walker, Associate Director, Athletic Communications, at gswalker@uoregon.edu.
Training Room
Athletic trainers will be present in a tent outside the Bowerman Building beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Requests for use of training modalities must be made to Elisha Cusumano at 541-346-6504.

Running Events
Athletes in all running events will follow the same protocol, which is outlined below.
1. Athletes must report to the Clerks' table underneath the West Grandstands NOT later than 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the event. Athletes failing to report by this deadline will be scratched.
2. Athletes will be escorted from the Clerk's area to the starting line.
3. At the conclusion of the running event, athletes must exit the track through the gate adjacent to the finish line and proceed to the Post-Event Recovery Area.
4. Some athletes will be escorted to the Media Interview Tent.
Field Events
Athletes in all field events will follow the same protocol, which is outlined below.
1. Athletes must walk directly to the field event site by following the path that begins at the Clerks' table underneath the West Grandstands and enters the infield by the finish line. Athletes competing on the Hammer Field will report directly to the event site.
2. Athletes in field events must check-in with the appropriate official at the field event site and not with the Clerks underneath the West Grandstands. Please report NOT later than 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the event. Athletes failing to report by this deadline will be scratched.
3. At the conclusion of the field event, athletes must exit the infield through the gate adjacent to the finish line and proceed to the Post-Event Recovery Area.
4. Some athletes will be escorted to the Media Interview Tent.
Spikes
Athletes may use only pyramid or Christmas tree spikes that are no larger than 7mm (1/4") in length. High jumpers and javelin throwers may use a 9 mm (3/8") or lesser spike. Spikes will be checked and those not meeting the regulations must be replaced by the athlete. No pin spikes will be allowed on the competition, warm-up or practice tracks.
Warm-up Areas
No warm-ups will be permitted on Hayward Field's track at any time. Athletes should use the warm-up track located in the southwest corner of the complex.
Results
Results will be available at GoDucks.com at the conclusion of the meet.
