Named to the West Coast League All-Star Game playing for the Cowlitz Black Bears … On the mound in 2011, made nine starts and broke a WCL record tossing four complete games … Was named first-team All-WCL, and finished the summer with a 6-2 record and 2.19 ERA, leading his club in both categories … In 65.2 innings pitched, struck out 49 batters … Finished the summer ranked the No. 22 prospect in the WCL by Perfect Game.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN | 2011
Made six appearances and one start, finishing with a 1-0 record and 3.38 ERA … In 10.2 innings pitched, totaled 14 strikeouts … Held opposing batters to a .244 clip … Season highlights included tossing one inning of shutout relief and striking out two in a 10-0 win over BYU … In the first start of his career, allowed three runs on six hits while striking out six in five innings of work and picked up the win as Oregon defeated Portland 14-3.
