2014 — Only a minor leg ailment could slow down the first-team Pac-12 all-conference standout who emerged as one of six semifinalists for the Outland Trophy as the nation’s top interior lineman . . . The 13-game starter at left tackle helped stabilize an offensive line that allowed 12 of its 31 quarterback sacks in his two-game absence vs. Washington State and Arizona . . . The first-team All-American (Football Writers Association of America) logged a collegiate-best 90 snaps at Utah and played 80 or more reps in six appearances . . . Proved to be crucial to the success of a running game that led the conference on the ground for the ninth consecutive year (234.5) and amassed more than 300 rushing yards against Arizona and Florida State in the conference championship game and Rose Bowl, respectively . . . Also played a prominent role for an offense that paved the way for the Ducks’ appearance in the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship, with Oregon finishing third in the country in total offense (547.0) and fourth in scoring offense (45.4) . . . Anchored an offensive line that led the Pac-12 in rushing for the eighth year in row (273.5 ypg), in addition to pacing the league in total offense (565.0 ypg) and scoring (45.5 ppg).

2012 — The first-year starter opened 11 games at right tackle while appearing in all 13 games his sophomore season… Credited with scoring first collegiate touchdown after sprinting downfield to pick up a De’Anthony Thomas fumble in the end zone on a play that began at the 50-yard line in win vs. Tennessee Tech . . . Earned all-conference honorable mention acclaim and received from coaches team’s Pancake Club award for most defenders knocked off their feet . . . Key component of an offensive line that paved the way for an offense ranked third in the country in rushing (315.23 avg.) and second in scoring (49.54 avg.) enroute to a Fiesta Bowl triumph over Kansas State . . . Helped pace a unit that elipsed 400 yards on the ground on four occasions and shared the nation’s lead in rushing touchdowns (48) . . .
