FRESNO, Calif. - The Oregon Ducks wrapped up play at the Fresno State Lexus Classic in fifth place.

For the Ducks, their fifth-place finish was their best of the spring and highest finish since taking third at the Saint Mary's Invitational in the fall.

No.1 California (346-348-343=1037) won the tournament by a healthy 37 strokes over second-place Fresno State.  The second, third, fourth and fifth place teams were separated by just 10 strokes.

As a team, the Ducks shot four-over par (369-354-361=1084) and finished the two-day tournament just five shots back of Northwestern, the fourth place finisher.

Sophomore Johnathan Woo led the Duck charge by carding a two-under 70 on Tuesday afternoon.  Woo shot -6 for the tournament (71-69-70=210) and finished in a seventh place tie. He picked up five birdies today, which followed a six birdie performance in round two.  Freshmen Sulman Raza (75-70-69=214) and Zach Foushee (72-71-73=216) shot -2 and even par for their three rounds to finish in a tie for 17th and a tie for 24th, respectively.

Finishing in a tie for 44th was senior Tyler Parker, who finished the tournament with a four-over 220 (73-72-75=220).

The Ducks' final two participants were senior Robbie Ziegler and freshman Brandon McIver, who placed in a tie for 88th and a tie for 93rd, respectively.

California's Michael Kim shot 16-under for the tournament to take the individual crown.

The Fresno State Lexus Classic was the first of two tournament for the Ducks this week.  They will compete at the three-day Bandon Dunes Championship in Bandon Dunes, Ore., beginning on Friday (March 8).
