Ducks Wrap Up First Day In Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. -- The Oregon Ducks wrapped up day one at the U.S. Intercollegiate, hosted by Stanford University, on Thursday afternoon in eighth place.

The Ducks shot 282 as a team (+2), 10 strokes off the pace set by tournament-leader Stanford (-8).

Rak Cho led the Oregon charge with a three-under 67 and Jonathan Woo shot a one-over 71 just two days after winning the individual crown at the Duck Invitational. Cho is in a tie for 10th heading into the second round but is just one stroke off the pace.

Ryann Ree and Zach Foushee each shot a two-over 72 to follow Woo and Sulman Raza carded a 74 on day one (+4).

Nine players shot four-under today to lead the individual field.

Play at the U.S. Intercollegiate in Stanford, Calif., resumes tomorrow.
