EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon women's basketball guard Chrishae Rowe was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for a league record sixth time this season, the conference announced on Monday.

Rowe broke Colorado redshirt freshman Arielle Roberson's record of five, set last season. Jillian Alleyne claimed the league's freshman of the week honors three times a year ago.

Rowe was outstanding over the weekend as the Ducks split a pair of road games against Arizona and Arizona State.

In the Ducks' 84-72 win over the Wildcats on Friday, Rowe scored 24 points and led the team with three steals and three 3-pointers.

She then had 39 points, just two short of her own school record of 41 set at Seattle U earlier this season, in a close loss to the No. 15 ranked Sun Devils on Sunday. Rowe is the NCAAs top-scoring freshman, averaging 22.3 points per game. That average puts her 14th overall in the nation.

Rowe went 12-of-22 from the field on Sunday at ASU, including 2-of-7 from three-point range. She was 13-of-14 at the free throw line and grabbed eight rebounds. She also tallied two blocks and made three steals.

Rowe ranks second in the Pac-12 in scoring and steals (2.62 per game) and is 13th in rebounding (7.2 per game).

Oregon, winners in three of their last four games, plays host to Colorado and Utah this weekend at Matthew Knight Arena. All three teams are tied for ninth in the Pac-12 standings.
