EUGENE, Ore. - For the third time this season, Cheridan Hawkins has been named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.

This is Hawkins' sixth career pitcher of the week honor and the 46th overall player of the week honor all-time for the Ducks.

Hawkins, who leads the NCAA with 10 shutouts this season, added two more to her total over the weekend as the No. 2 ranked Ducks swept No. 5 ranked Washington for the first time in school history.

Hawkins pitched both games of a doubleheader on Saturday, picking up an 8-0 five-inning win in the first game and a 4-0 victory in the second game. The lefty also picked up a win in relief in the third game on Sunday. Hawkins allowed just two hits in the first game and six in the second game.

In her three appearances against Washington, Hawkins posted a 0.95 ERA over 14.2 innings with 11 strikeouts.

In addition to her NCAA-best 10 shutouts, Hawkins currently ranks fourth in the nation in wins (18), fifth in strikeouts (182), ninth in hits allowed per seven innings (3.52) and 12th in ERA (0.99).

As a team, the Ducks rank sixth in the nation in batting (.340) and eighth in ERA (1.52).
