CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Led by a pair of two-over par rounds from senior Raphaela Dyer and freshman Cathleen Santoso, the Oregon women’s golf team carded a 299 (+11) in the second round of the Pac-12 Championships. The No. 30 Ducks are in ninth place at the loaded conference tournament, held at Trysting Tree Golf Course, with a two-round total of 599 (+23).

Second-ranked UCLA maintained its lead, carding an even par round. UCLA’s Erynne Lee and Arizona’s Lindsay Weaver lead all individuals at four-under par.  Entering tomorrow’s final round, Oregon is within two strokes of No. 35 California and three strokes of Oregon State.

Tee assignments for Sunday’s closing round from Trysting Tree will get underway at 8:30 a.m. (PT). The Ducks will tee off hole No. 10 from 9:10-9:42 a.m. (PT), and are paired with Washington State and Colorado.

“Every player on our team is closer to playing great golf than our scores are currently indicating,” said head coach Ria Scott. “Our conference tournament is always very demanding and great preparation for the rest of the postseason.”

With a 36-hole score of 149 (+5), Santoso is leading the team through two rounds at the Pac-12 Championship. The Sydney, Australia, native carded a 74 (+2) in today’s round and improved to 28th on the leaderboard. Santoso went one-over par on both nines, carding a steady round with 15 pars and a birdie on the par-four fifth hole.

Sophomore Caroline Inglis and junior Cassy Isagawa are one stroke off Santoso’s mark, and are tied for 32nd place at six-over par (150) on the tournament. Inglis has carded consecutive rounds of 75 (+3). The Eugene native birdied the first and fifth holes and made 12 pars in today’s round. Isagawa shot a 76 (+4) in today’s round. Isagawa birdied holes No. 7 and 10 and made 11 pars.

Dyer improved six spots on the leaderboard and carded her second-best round of the season, firing a 74 (+2). Dyer played both nines at one-over par and birdied holes No. 1, 11 and 14. Dyer is currently tied for 36th place.

Freshman Marcella Pranovia is tied for 53rd with a two-round tally of 156 (+12). After an opening round 76 (+4), Pranovia carded an 80 on her second round. She made 12 pars on the day.
