• First collegiate walk came in 10-0 win vs. Mississippi Valley State, 3/14/08.
• First collegiate start came in 4-1 win vs. Southern Utah, 3/8/08.
• First collegiate run came in 14-0 win vs. Seton Hall, 2/16/07.
• First collegiate game and at-bat came vs. Florida, 2/9/07.

2009 SEASON (Junior)
Again was one of team's top reserves, and saw action in 31 games - second-most season-wise in her career - including 14 of the team's 21 Pac-10 games (and 17 in the non-conference slate). One of three players that started in both the outfield (right field) and infield during the season with Sari-Jane Jenkins and Kelsey Chambers. Tied career game high in runs (1) in five games, including wins vs. Hawai'i, Southern Mississippi and Seattle, and also in pair of games at No. 11 Arizona. Also had career highs in hits (1) and RBIs (1) vs. Southern Mississipi. In first start of season against Western Athletic Conference champion Nevada, added walk and sacrifice hit that tied career highs. Her other start came against returning national champion and No. 9 Arizona State in final game of season.

2008 SEASON (Sophomore)
Received UO’s Most Inspirational Award from her teammates. During season, was team’s most called upon pinch runner and played 48 games. Made first collegiate start at second base in 4-2 win vs. returning NCAA qualifier Southern Utah in early March, then got opening nods twice in final weeks of regular season vs. Portland State and California. In second week of season vs. Northwestern State (13-2 win), collected first collegiate hit, RBI and stolen base in first at-bat of the season. Received starting nods again vs. No. 22 California and Portland State the penultimate week of campaign. Stole bases on consecutive days vs. Northwestern State and Southern Utah and later vs. Idaho State. Scored runs three of the first five games of the year (vs. Colorado State, Cal Poly and Northwestern State), and later added runs vs. Baylor, Michigan State, Southern Utah, UNLV, Northern Illinois and Mississippi Valley State, Portland State (twice). Also reached walks vs. Mississippi Valley State and Idaho State in Cascade Clash. In field, did not make an error and had eight putouts and 10 assists.

2007 SEASON (Freshman)
Was one of team’s top reserve players, and played 23 games altogether – second-most on the team off the bench. Was one of five freshmen to play in +20 games for UO in 2007. Scored runs in wins vs. Seton Hall, St. Mary’s, New Mexico State, South Dakota State, Utah State, Utah Valley State and Oregon State – the latter of which was the game-winner in a 6-5 decision and clinched the annual Civil War all-sports trophy for the Duck athletic department.

Barril lettered four times in softball and three times in volleyball at Juneau Douglas High School in Juneau, Alaska. She was named Alaska State Gatorade Player of the Year and received the Army National Guard Student Athlete Award. Barril was class valedictorian in 2006. She led Juneau Douglas to state softball championships in 2004 and 2005. Barril reached National Qualifiers as a member of the Midnight Suns Fastpitch Softball Association.
