EUGENE, Ore. – University of Oregon golfer Jack Dukeminier has been voted to the Capital One Academic All-District men's at-large first team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The all-district award is the second in as many seasons for the senior from Eugene, who was a third-team Academic All-America in 2010. Dukeminier, who is a graduate student academically, carries a 4.03 GPA in General Business.
On the links, Dukeminier enjoyed his first medalist performance this past season, tying for the individual title at the OGIO Santa Barbara Invite. He also equaled his career-low with a 66 in the opening round of the NCAA Southeast Regional.
As a member of the All-District 8 first team, Dukeminier will be added to the national ballot for Academic All-America.
A Pac-10 All-Academic first-team selection last year, Dukeminier played 134 rounds over his four seasons at UO and ranks seventh in career scoring average at 73.21.
