BOISE, Idaho - University of Oregon men's golf head coach Casey Martin stood in a tie for 39th place after the Albertsons Boise Open third round, thanks to his one-under 70 Saturday at the Hillcrest Country Club.

The Eugene native stood in a 10-way tie at eight under (68-67-70-205), eight strokes out of the lead. Among his scores for the 54 holes, he stood tied for third in eagles (2), 47th in birdies (12) and 43rd in pars (33).
 
Glancing at his scorecard Saturday, Martin carded five birdies (holes #4, 8, 11, 12, 18), nine pars (#2-3, 5, 9-10, 14-17) and four bogeys (#1, 6, 7, 13).

Overall on previous days, he shot two eagles (both on Thursday), 24 par scores, seven birdies, and two bogeys and one double-bogey.

On the overall leaderboard, Michael Putnam (62-65-68-195 (-18)) held onto his lead and sported a two-stroke lead over five players tied at 197 (-16).
