HUTCHINSON, Kan. – After eight hours and 10 minutes of weather delays here at Prairie Dunes Country Club, play was finally suspended at the NCAA Championships with Oregon on top of the leaderboard at 3-under. The 15 teams that were a part of the afternoon have yet to tee off, including top-ranked Alabama.

Zach Foushee sank three birdies through six holes to lead the field, including an eight-foot chip shot for birdie on the par-four fifth hole. Teammate Brandon McIver is tied for second at 2-under through five holes thanks to back-to-back birdies on the fourth and fifth holes.

The first round will resume at 5 a.m. (PT) on Saturday, May 24, at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
