Conditions were extremely tough in Nashville throughout the weekend, but today’s weather was the harshest, with heavy winds and lots of humidity.
Freshman Caroline Inglis (77-71-78-226) had the best finish for the Ducks, placing in a tie for 17th after shooting 6-over-par 78 in the final round. Sophomore Monica Petchakan had the lowest score on the day for the Ducks, shooting 4-over-par 76, finishing in a tie for 51st.
The Ducks also counted scorecards from Cassy Isagawa (T34th- 73-77-80-230) and senior Hanule Sky Seo (T60-82-78-78-238). Cali Hipp (65th- 75-84-80-239) made the trip and also shot eight-over-par 80 on Sunday.
The weather conditions proved to be tough for every one in the field. Arizona (298-286-305-889) won the tournament, but their winning total of 25-over-par 889 was the highest winning score in the 12-year history of the tournament. Virginia (300-295-297-892) had an impressive final round, vaulting into second place after shooting 9-over-par 297 on the day. Five shots behind in third place was Michigan State (302-294-301-897) who finished the tournament 33-over-par.
Emilie Burger of Georgia claimed medalist honors after shooting even-par 72 each day of the event, finishing with a score of 216. In a tie for second place, Caroline Powers (71-75-73-219) of Michigan State and Kendall Price (73-70-76-219) of Arizona shot three-over-par over the three-day tournament.

The Ducks take two weeks off before heading to Sammamish, Wash. for the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational on Oct. 8 to Oct. 10.
