EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon women’s golf team has released its 2013-14 schedule, head coach Ria Scott announced Tuesday. The Ducks will compete in 12 regular-season events this season; five in the fall and seven in the spring.

“Again, we are fortunate for the opportunity to schedule nationally and see some of the best teams in the country,” said Scott. “Our schedule offers us exposure to a variety of teams, conditions and golf courses, all preparing us to face anything in the postseason.”

The Ducks open the fall season Sept. 14-15 at the Mary Fossum Invitational hosted by Michigan State in East Lansing, Mich. The 29th running of the tournament will be held at the Forest Akers West Golf Course. Oregon will return to action the following week (Sept. 20-21), competing at the University of New Mexico Dick McGuire Invitational at the UNM Championship Course.

Oregon continues its fall slate in October with the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational hosted by Washington on Oct. 7-8, and the Stanford Invitational Oct. 25-27. The Ducks close the fall season on Nov. 4-5 with the Pac-12 Preview in Hawai’i.

Oregon’s spring tournament schedule will begin on Feb. 15-16 with the Peg Barnard Collegiate in Stanford, Calif. on the Stanford Golf Course. The Westbrook Village Golf Course in Peoria, Ariz., will provide Oregon’s next test as they compete Feb. 23-24 at the Westbrook Invitational. The tournament is hosted by the University of Wisconsin.

Oregon will travel the following week (March 3-4) to San Jose, Calif., for the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational.  The tournament is held on the Almaden Golf & Country Club.  Next up for Scott’s squad will be the San Diego State Farms Invitational on March 24-26. Action will be held on the Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.

Tempe, Ariz., will be Oregon’s next stop as the Ducks compete April 4-6 at the Ping ASU Invitational. The competition is held at the Arizona State University Karsten Golf Course. Oregon will close the regular season April 25-27 with the Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif.

The 2014 Pac-12 Championship will be hosted by Oregon State April 25-27. The competition will be held at the Trysting Tree Golf Club, a par-72 track in Corvallis, Ore.  NCAA Regional competition runs from May 8-10 at one of three locations, while the NCAA Championships will be hosted by the Tula Country Club in Tulsa, Okla., May 20-23.
