EUGENE – In a final tune-up before Saturday’s regular season finale, the 69th-ranked Oregon men’s tennis team blew past Pacific University with relative ease in a 7-0 win on Tuesday.

The Ducks move back above .500 in dual play with an 11-10 overall record with the victory.

Oregon took all nine matches on the day, beginning with three 8-1 wins on the doubles court. Robin Cambier and Alex Rovello picked up their 10th win together at No. 1 doubles, Jose Izquierdo and Douglas Mayeda improved to 5-3 as a pairing on court two while Sho Higuchi and Aaron Clissold paired together for the first time to pick up the doubles sweep at No. 3.

UO took all six singles matches in straight sets, losing only six total games in the 12 combined sets. Rovello and Izquierdo each won 6-0, 6-0, to pick up their 11th dual wins at No. 1 and 3 singles, respectively. Cambier notched his 20th overall singles win of the year with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Michael Okada at No. 2, Clissold dispatched Alen Suklje (6-1, 6-0) at No. 4, Higuchi downed Derek Cooley (6-0, 6-2) at No. 5 and Mayeda took out Eric Furuya (6-1, 6-0) at No. 6 to complete the perfect day for the Ducks.

Oregon returns to the court on Saturday when it hosts No. 22 Washington at 1:30 p.m.
