The Oregon Ducks men’s tennis team travels to Boise, Idaho this weekend to compete in the Boise State Fall Classic (Oct. 5-7). The team will be traveling without Robin Cambier and Jeff Mullen, who are currently competing in the ITA All-American Tournament.
The tournament will consist of a Blue, Orange and Open flight for both doubles and singles. All matches will be held at the Appleton Tennis Center on the Boise State campus and Julia Davis Park which is located directly north of campus.
Oregon’s Alex Rovello is the only ranked player in the tournament field, coming in at No. 115 in the ITA preseason rankings.
“I’m really excited to finally get to see these guys compete,” said associate head coach Jonas Piibor. “They’ve really worked unbelievably hard these three weeks of the fall. We have high expectations going into a tough Boise State tournament and we’re looking for guys to step up and show what they’ve got.”
Draws will be updated at www.broncosports.com at the end of each day.
