DUCKS HEAD TO BAY AREA FOR FINAL ROAD REGULAR SEASON MATCHES
The Oregon Ducks (11-6, 1-5) travel to the Bay Area this week for their final road regular season matches against San Francisco, No. 11 California and No. 12 Stanford. Oregon is 0-3 on the road this year.

RECENT HISTORY AGAINST BAY AREA OPPONENTS
Oregon is 1-0 under head coach Paul Reber against San Francisco but has not played the Dons (11-6) since 2008. The 2008 match featured a 4-3 Oregon victory in Eugene. Meanwhile, the Ducks are 0-6 against both California and Stanford since 2006-07. Last year, Stanford defeated Oregon, 6-1, and the Ducks fell to California, 7-0. Both matches were played in Eugene. The only player to post a victory over Stanford or California last year was Rabea Stueckemann, who beat the Cardinal’s Natalie Dillon (6-3, 3-6, (10-8)) in the No. 6 singles match.

DUCKS BEAT ARIZONA FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2009
The Oregon Ducks earned their first win over Arizona since 2009 on March 24 in Eugene thanks to a 5-2 victory. The Wildcats took two-of-three from Oregon in doubles play to start the day but the Ducks rallied in singles play. Patricia Skowronski started things off with a 6-3, 6-2 win in the No. 2 match over Kim Stubbe and Julia Metzger followed with a 6-1, 6-4 victory in the No. 3 match. For Metzger, the win marked her 11th in a row. Then, with the match tied, 2-2, Nicole Long defeated 48th-ranked Lacey Smyth in three sets (6-2, 4-6, 6-2) in the No. 1 match to give Oregon its first lead of the day, 3-2. Moments later, Rabea Stueckemann outlasted Inge Hendriks in three sets (3-6, 6-4, 6-3) in the No. 6 match to seal the victory for Oregon. Lana Buttner rallied to beat Susan Mc Rann in a third-set tiebreaker to cap the day.

LONG, METZGER PUSH SINGLES WIN TOTAL TO 20
Sophomore Nicole Long and senior Julia Metzger have each surpassed the 20-win plateau in 2013. Long enters the Bay Area trip with a 21-5 overall record and a 14-3 mark in dual singles play. Metzger checks in at 20-11 overall and 14-2 for the dual singles matches. Last year, only Sofia Hager (23-12) had over 20 singles wins for the Ducks. Both Long and Metzger have had winning streaks of over 10 matches this year. From October 2012 to March 2013, Long won 17 consecutive matches, while Metzger posted a 12-match win streak from Feb. 3 to March 29.

DUCKS APPROACHING 2012 TEAM SINGLES WIN MARK
Oregon is a combined 64-38 (.627) in dual singles matches this season. The Ducks are just three wins away from matching last year’s total of 67. Oregon’s 2012 squad went 67-59 (.532) in dual singles matches. Nicole Long and Julia Metzger each lead the Ducks with 14 dual singles wins and Patricia Skowronski follows with 11.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Ducks have just three regular season matches remaining following their trip to the Bay Area. But after facing No. 11 California and No. 12 Stanford in California, Oregon’s schedule does not get any easier. On April 12, the Ducks host No. 9 UCLA and No. 5 USC comes to Eugene on April 14. Oregon’s 2013 regular season concludes on April 21 with a 12 p.m. match against Santa Clara.
