Ducks Look to Regroup for Dual Season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Oregon women’s tennis team stumbled on the final day of the IU Winter Invitational on Monday, dropping all three doubles matches. Overall, the Ducks notched a dozen victories at the tournament and now head home to begin their dual season.

Nicole Long and Jasmine Minor dropped their final match of the day falling Lin/Liang (Harvard) 6-2. Allie Hueffner and Kadie Hueffner weren’t able to overcome Marquette’s pair in Gebes/Diaz and lost their match 6-4. Sofia Hager and Marlou Kluiving battled to the very end with Morrill/Lee from Harvard but lost in a tiebreak 7-6 (9-7).

The Ducks return home on Fri., Jan. 24, at 4 p.m. for their home-opener against South Carolina Upstate at the Student Tennis Center and then take on Eastern Washington on Sunday at 11 a.m.
